#6: Craft Beers

Our number six great thing that fall brings us is craft beers. Every year I look forward to the pumpkin flavored beers, darker beers, Oktoberfest beers and fall variety packs that emerge during this time of year. Let’s take a look at a couple beers that are a hit.

Sam Adams Octoberfest

We reviewed this beer a couple weeks ago and gave it an A+. Certainly a classic Oktoberfest beer. Rather malty on the palate but certainly a good beer for when it is time to bust out the hooded sweatshirt.

Great Lakes Oktoberfest

Another classic Oktoberfest beer with a much stronger flavor than the Sam Adams Octoberfest. One of the best Oktoberfest beers money can buy.

Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin Ale

Another Good Beer choice, Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin Ale has the taste and the finish of Grandma’s Pumpkin Pie. Tastes like an Ale, but has that pumpkin-y sweetness to it. A good beer to have on cool evening.

Sam Adams Hazel Brown

Sam Adams Hazel Brown is part of their fall sampler variety pack. Hazel Brown has an obvious Hazelnut taste and finish. Makes for a great dessert beer or late evening beer as things are winding down.

Any German Beer

Any German Beer also makes the list as far as why it is a great time for it to be Fall. As long as there is an Oktoberfest Party, good people, and hot women to go along with you are in good shape.
