Implementation, Action, & Tracking – Keys to Progress

As I reflect over the weekend and look at a myriad of things(bank account, the scale, where I am at in different ventures, reading about new things), I am reminded as how we are to push the envelope on success and progress. As a Millennial I am convinced I have some sort of ADD or ADHD, and have the propensity to look at the next new shiny object much like a curious raccoon would and go “Ooooo!”.  This is most prevalent when I look at various content on the internet with my Zite app, go to TheSalesBlog.com, earlytorise.com, or addicted2success.com. It’s all good stuff and I commend the owners and authors for putting out great content, but personally when I take step back, I say to myself that I need to stop consuming and start implementing. Time to take a “content fast”.

Implementation. Make a plan. Start small and simple. As Tony Robbins says, “If it’s scheduled, it’s possible.”.  Set aside time to do it(working out, making calls, applying for jobs, whatever it may be).

Action. ‘Just Do It’ as Nike says. Take action, “Take Massive Action” in the words of Tony Robbins. Finally, follow through, don’t just do it once and stop. Follow through and keep going.

Tracking and Review. Track your steps as a means to monitor growth and progress, the more you do this, the more significant progress you will make.

Cheers and Good Luck!
