Opinion: Why This Election Won’t Matter For Millennials

News Flash Millennials….This Election simply will not matter to you. Plain and simple. It will not matter whether your girl Hill who you are with or the Donald or if Bernie Sanders emerges from the ashes like a meteoric phoenix from the dead. None of it will matter when it comes to your day to day life. Allow me to explain why.

When the 45th President takes office on January 20th, 2017, the next President will still have to deal with an institution called Congress. Congress lately has not been able to agree on much. Congress hasn’t been able to make good deals and significant headway for the American people. The House and the Senate will still continue to create inefficiency as far as government and legislation. What will be interesting is if Donald Trump gets elected, what will be his ability to negotiate with Congress.

Where we are in life is a direct residual of our past experiences and decisions. Presidential Elections have a very very very very small impact on the individual citizen’s life. It is up to each and everyone of us that if we do not like something in our own lives, we need to change it. Not anyone else. Tony Robbins has said life is full of changes. How we change is consistent focus and consistent action. Now one thing we will say is that a series of elections over time will have consequences good or bad on its citizens. Also local elections are extremely important to individual citizens overall. Go out and of course vote, but also change your own life!
